The Chaplet of Divine Mercy, which was dictated to St. Faustina in this very building on 1935, is prayed every day at 3 p.m.

Rorate – an early morning candlelight Mass that

Rorate – an early morning candlelight Mass that takes place during the season of Advent. The Rorate tradition began in the 13th century, and spread only in Lithuania and Poland.

Rorate Mass is celebrated in Vilnius at the following churches:
- The Church of St. John the Baptist and St. John the Apostle and Evangelist on Wednesdays at 07.15 LT;
- Church of the Savior Mondays and Thursdays at 07.00 LT;
- The Shrine of Divine Mercy Sunday at 8.30 LT;
- St. Raphael‘s Church Monday-Friday at 07.00 LT, 07.30 PL, Sundays 07.00 LT and 08.00 PL;
- The Church of St. Philip and St. Jacob Monday-Friday 06.30 PL;
- Church of the Discovery of the Holy Cross (Calvary) Monday-Friday 07.00 LT

Today is the anniversary of the death of Sister He

Today is the anniversary of the death of Sister Helena Majewska. She was buried at Saltoniškės Cemetery. Helena belonged to the Congregation of the Sisters of Angels. St. Faustina Kowalska’s mission was continued by her. Sister Helena was a teacher, and preceptor of the first Sisters of Merciful Jesus, a mystic, and visionary. The Blessed M. Sopoćko was her spiritual advisor.

Since childhood, Helena experienced mystical visions in which Jesus Christ manifested himself. Her visions were becoming more frequent, and she appealed to Rev. Michael Sopoćko in April 1940 to help her understand her mystical experiences. Fr. Sopoćko encouraged Sr. Helena, much like St. Faustina, to begin writing a diary describing her mystical visions, and conversations with God. She did not reveal her diary to other sisters and did not talk about it. The diaries were found in the archives of the congregation after the death of Sister Helena.

On the Feast Day of St. Faustina, we ask that you join us in the celebration of Holy Mass at the Divine Mercy Shrine (Dominikonų g. 12) 10 am, 12 pm, 8 pm Holy Mass is celebrated in Lithuanian, at 4 pm in Polish. The hour of Divine Mercy takes place at 3 pm. You can join a prayer via live broadcast.

In the House of St. Faustina, at 3 pm we will pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy in Lithuanian, at 4 pm in French and at 5 pm in English. Join us in prayer via live broadcast on Šv. Faustinos namelis page.

The House of St. Faustina was sister Faustina's home in 1929, and from 1933–1936. Visitors are welcome daily from 10 am – 5 pm. This site represents some of the most significant years of this nun‘s time on this earth.

In 1935, between September 13th and 14th, St. Faustina received the Divine Mercy Chaplet prayer from Jesus. St. Faustina described this event in her diary, "I have never prayed with such inner fervor as then," (Diary, 475). This excerpt became the theme of this year‘s celebration of the Divine Mercy Chaplet.

We are very thankful to the Shrine of Divine Mercy for their contribution to make a celebration of the Divine Mercy Chaplet; for priests Petras Pich, Jokūbas-Marija Goštautas and Darius Graževič, who were at the House of St. Faustina. Also for Martynas, Radvilė and Girmantė, who led the evening prayer.

Exactly three years ago, Pope Francis arrived in Lithuania. To remember Pope Francis‘ visit to Lithuania, we decorated Dominikonu Street‘s windows (next to our Center) with his quotes together with votives - symbols of gratitude from the faithful. These votives decorated the stage on which the youth greeted Pope Francis.
We can remember this joyous event by reading the Pope‘s speeches during his visit here, looking at photographs, or watching video footage.

This will be the second year that Lithuania will celebrate All of Lithuania‘s Saints.
The Orthodox Church has proclaimed 32 Saints who lived in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Soviet-occupied Lithuania, and the Republic of Lithuania. Of those saints, 6 are of Lithuanian origin. These include the martyrs Sts. John, Anthony and Eustace, St. Daumantas (Timothy), St. Charitina and St. Eliziejus Laurušavietis.
